William R. Schlumpf, P.E.  Founder and President

Mr. Schlumpf is a Professional Engineer with 40 years of experience in all aspects of design and construction of power, industrial and commercial projects.  He has held positions as Supervising Civil/Structural Engineer, Project Manager, Resident Engineer, Construction Manager and Cost Estimator.  He has significant background in the design, planning, estimating and construction of a wide variety of projects, with particular emphasis in the areas of commercial and private power generation, private centralized utility plants and municipal solid waste handling and recycling facilities.  Mr. Schlumpf holds a Bachelors of Science in Engineering from Cornell University and is licensed in several states and Puerto Rico.  His responsibilities include the management of the day to day operation of the firm, as well as overseeing all technical aspects as well as the integration and progress of all projects.

Scott A. DiBerardino, AIA Chief Architect

Mr. DiBerardino is a Registered Architect with 20 years of experience in site design, building design and construction of commercial, municipal and industrial projects.  His prior experience also includes extensive field supervision, cost estimating and budgeting, oversight of construction activities, project management and interfacing with municipal and government agencies.  Mr. DiBerardino holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology and is licensed in the State of New York.  He is responsible for the project management for many of the firms projects and overseeing the architectural work that the firm handles.  Mr. DiBerardino is also responsible for quality control and document control.

Vincent Paladino, P.E.  Civil/Structural Engineer

Mr. Paladino has been with the firm since he completed his studies at The University of Rhode Island with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and post Graduate Studies in Structural Engineering at the Polytechnic Institute at NYU.  He has significant experience in both the civil and structural disciplines, and has spent significant time as a resident engineer on a large waste to energy project in Toronto, Canada.

Richard W. Schlumpf  Resident Engineer

Mr. Schlumpf has been with the firm since he completed his studies at Hofstra University with a Bachelor of Engineering with a major in Engineering Science.   He has gained significant experience in both civil and structural disciplines as a resident engineer on a large educational project in Garden City, NY.

In addition to the key staff noted above, the firm has several young engineers, designers and administrative/office support staff, some of which hold degrees in the field of engineering.  All of our staff is well acclimated to working in a multi disciplinary environment and is an integral part of the overall project team, providing the firm with an efficient use of resources.
